How does Track Wise work?
Track Wise uses GPS trackers installed in your vehicle to provide live location tracking via our app and web dashboard.
I’ve activated my device — what do I do next?
After activation, log in to your tracking account and check two important settings:
- Map startup position → set to Fit objects
- Time zone → set to your local time
How do I create a geofence?
Geofences allow you to receive alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves a defined area. Creating one only takes a minute.
Please watch the short step-by-step video below, which shows exactly how to create a geofence in your tracking account.
How do I set up alerts?
You can set up alerts in your Track Wise tracking account. Depending on your device, alerts can include movement, geofence, speed, battery and tamper events.
Standard alerts can be sent to you by email. UK customers can also add optional SMS alerts to receive selected tracking alerts by text message.
Do I receive new login details when I activate another device?
If you already have a Track Wise account, your new device will appear in your existing account and no new password is sent.
If this is your first device, login details are emailed automatically once setup is complete.
How do I log in on mobile or desktop?
You can access Track Wise from desktop or mobile using the Tracking Login page.
Why are my tracking times incorrect?
This is usually caused by the time zone setting. Make sure it matches your local time.
Do I need a subscription?
Yes. A subscription is required to enable tracking. Plans include SIM connectivity, live tracking, alerts, and access to the app and web dashboard.
You only subscribe after receiving and installing your device.
Is there a long-term contract?
